I've used the JMicron - JMB380_R1.00.12.07 I found in a forum for Vista. The Vista touchpad drivers from Synaptics and the Vista Battery Meter drivers from Dells site for the Dell Mini 12. I've let it do a Windows update which got a new version of the Realtek LAN. It runs very fast, and sleeps instantly, but will not wake. Sometimes I see the logon, but it's already locked up. I've had Wake USB disable since I got it. I've also updated to Bios A04. I've reloaded it 4 or 5 times with the same result (insanity). Although I've done my install from a USB HD I'm not sure what difference it would make to us a DVD. Spec: Stock 32GB SSD Stock 1GB RAM Windows 7 build 7000 |

Always make sure when you test it just dont close it and open it right away or it will freeze. Close it and give it 10 seconds then open it. Also you can turn the processor speed down when the laptop is not plugged in. This is in advanced power settings. I want to see if anyone has tested this> |

I didn't get a chance to update any drivers though (I used the same ones from the Mini 12 like I do in my Vista Ultimate installs, which work great) so we'll see. I am using BIOS A02. |
