Anyone risked windows 7 yet from your favourite torrent site? Also we may need a windows 7 sub-section. |

Yes I have. Pay attention to the size. You will know if it's fake or not. They also have the updated files to bypass the 30day trial. Also you are on the wrong forum. You should be posting in vista-f25.html goodluck! |

I'm planning to try Win7 on my Mini when the 64GB Runcore comes. I've read that Win7 has some improvements with respect to SSD's but you need to start with an clean install. |

you sure put it right when you said "Risk" and "torrent" in the same breath. :roll: I guess if you really have to have a sneak peak at an OS than it's a risk some will take but I just never understand installing an OS from an unknown source. So many things can be in there, and you put it on your home network. back to the subject though... Windows 7 runs great on the mini. What's even more impressive is that this is beta code with debug in it still, when it's released and running better I think it's going to be pretty nice. |

I am also thinking about trying Windows 7 on my mini. But, I'm actually on the beta test with MS for Win 7 so this should be interesting. On a side note for all of you thinking about hitting the torrents, might I suggest you just wait until January? MS will be releasing a public beta that anyone can get their hands on. Why risk getting this from a torrent when you can get it legitimately shortly? |

I have to say I have tried 9650 build on my t40 and it runs beautifully. Runs as good as XP or faster. I also am doing beta testing for MS and cannot wait to get my hands on this...now if my 64gb would show up that would be better yet.. Nate |
