Default simple way to free up some screen real estate - 03-02-2010, 08:23 PM

If you right-click on the taskbar in Windows 7, and select Properties, then check the box "Use small icons" you get a small taskbar like in XP/Vista.

I know screen real-estate is precious on our Mini 9s, 1010s, 1011s, and 1012s.

Default Small Task Bar Hides Day/Date - 03-05-2010, 09:18 PM

If your task bar is only one line high, it will cut off the day / date information. To have all three lines displayed, you must display a 3-line task bar.

I use "auto-hide" on my task bar which gives back even more screen real-estate.

Good luck.
