Thanks for the link, but do we know when these drivers were actually released, and is the general feeling that they are better or worse than the Windows 7 default drivers?

Presumably they were not written specifically for the slightly 'odd' touchpad on the Mini 10v... or should they automatically adjust to cater for it?

If the touchpad is actually made by Synaptics, I would hope that they would know how to get the best out of it... as it were!

The Synaptics driver adds features to the touchpad, like horizontal and vertical scrolling, and middle click. They can also do two finger scrolling, flick, and chiral scrolling (whatever that is) But to get those working on the mini 9 you need special or modified the drivers. The ones from the Synaptics web site offer only basic functionality, to even get middle click you need the drivers from Dell.
