My 10v arrived last night so I immediately put Windows 7 on it. I found a cool utility that formats a USB drive and then puts an iso on it. Check it out. It worked well for me. It takes about a half hour and it doesn't look like it's doing anything at a couple points in the process but if you just let it go it will do its thing. Works very well, thanks... Inspiron 1300n|1GB RAM|60GB HDD|DVD+RW|GMA 900|1280x800 Both run with Windows XP Home SP3 + Windows 7 Ultimate RC dual-OS. |

For all those who don't have vista/7 already but do have XP, here's a way to make a bootable windows 7 flash drive: How to Install Windows 7 From USB Drive without Windows 7 ISO DVD please note that i haven't tested this myself - but judging by the comments it appears to work for most people! |
