Question How do you view/edit the bootloader? - 08-12-2009, 12:18 AM

I apologize if this post is wrong, or is in the wrong place.

Partition Type: GPT
75GB OSX * Set active (booting)
75GB Windows 7 (installed, boot works)

Please correct me if I am wrong....
I was able to change the active partition back to OSX using DISKPART after installing Windows 7, but now of course, I must edit chameleon bootloader to point to booting Windows 7 as well, no?

I am sure I can look at boot.ini on the Windows partition to see the boot settings, but I do not know where to make the change in the OSX partition.

Cham sees 2 drives, but does not boot the Windows side.

EDIT: I found these links: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=165878 and http://www.geardiary.com/2009/01/21/...and-windows-7/

Hopefully they will put me on track

Once you're able to get into Windows, look into "Easy BCD" - it is an excellent, free Vista/W7 boot manager. Although...I have no idea how it will play with OSX, so beware...

Always glad when someone gets something working right. I know that feeling when it finally comes.

Enjoy your 10!
