| That would be a driver issue. It's the battery software.

| Just my 2 cents here (sorry for my bad english): I've just downloaded only 4 drivers for my Mini 9 running Windows 7 Ultimate, the remaining came via Windows Update, and got all devices recognized. Only the wireless switch doesn't work as expected, albeit being recognized, but it's OK for me, as I keep pressing it accidentally. My system doesn't include Bluetooth, through. Here are the URL's and descriptions: Dell Battery Meter/Wireless Select Switch (Wireless switch not working): ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/app/R232390.exe (works via HTTP too) Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mini-Card: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/comm/R251276.exe (works via HTTP too) JMicron JMB385 Card Reader: ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb38x/X...00.43_WHQL.zip Synaptics Generic Touchpad (my personal preference over Dell's): Download License Agreement | Synaptics As I said, everything else came from Windows Update. The default install recognized most of the system to a decent level of usage and, unless you need the 3G broadband to download the updates, everything should be OK. Hope this helps someone. Bye! |

| Just took my mini 9 out of mothballs, installed XP then for a win 7 home premium upgrade version. XP was OK, but a little "jerky". Win 7 is much zippier. In fairness, I did not update intel chipset drivers on XP. Those came along automatically with win7 updates. Very happy so far.

| Hi Greg, I'm planning to upgrade my win xp to win 7 OS. But before that, would just like to clarify things. If I'm going to perform the upgrade, do I still need to manually do drivers update for the rest except for intel chipset? I'm afraid I don't have the CDs anymore, so I'm worried if I will still have to search for them.

| Is the OP updated with the current drivers or should we go to the 10/10v support page? |

| Great support from this website! I have everything working except sleep when lid is closed. I've changed power settings to sleep when lid is closed. Sleep works fine when I set it to sleep when the power button is pushed. I have no missing drivers, but I feel like its still a chipset problem. I'm using a Mini 9 (8gb SSD) and Windows 7 Starter. Anybody know what I should uninstall/install to fix this issue? |

| I don't know. Try unsetting it, saving your changes, then setting it again. Also, make sure you don't have some other program running (like Granola, or some Dell program) which may mess with your power settings. |
