| After installing the Mini 12 (Vista) drivers listed above for the Battery Meter/Wireless Switch (on the Mini 9) the mouse cursor disappeared after a reboot. I plugged in a USB mouse and tried the touch pad, but no cursor. I did notice stuff was still being highlighted and I could click on things, just no cursor. A reboot fixed this and it has not happened again. It was no big deal, but I just thought I would let everyone know incase anyone else experienced this. This may be fixed on other versions of 7. I am running Build 7100. Has anyone had trouble running the Windows Experience Index? Mine gets like 98% done then just sits there and final windows comes back and says it could not finish the test because it timed out on the drive test. I have it installed on a Super Talent 32 gb 80/40.

| What SSD are you running? Super Talent? Runcore? STEC? It completed and computed, but it doesn't every time. Alot of times it "times out" according to Windows on the calculation of the drive. With my setup the ratings are: 1.2 Processor 4.1 Memory 2.0 Graphics 3.0 Gaming Graphics 5.8 Primary hard disk Too bad we can't swap out/mod the processor and video card!

| Just a heads up that the JMicron SD Reader Driver has been updated to proper Win7 compatibility. As such the ftp site pathing has changed and the link in the first post doesn't work anymore... Here is the link for the current version of the JMicron SD Driver: ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb38x/X...00.32_WHQL.zip Thanks alot to the thread starter for making my Mini9 Win7 installation and setup a breeze!!! | If you are using the Dell Mini 12 Synaptics drivers for Vista (R195921.EXE, linked on first page of thread) on your Mini 9, you will notice the control panel is too big for the 9's screen. Here's an edited setup config that makes the settings window 560px tall, so it just fits above the Windows 7 task bar. To use: 1. Run R195921.EXE, after it unpacks, click Cancel when it starts the actual installation. 2. Unzip the attachment below and copy the file synpd.inf into the target directory (C:\Dell\Drivers\R195921\), replacing the original. 3. Now run the setup.exe in this directory. You will be prompted with a digital signature warning, that's normal because the configuration has been modified. 4. Allow the installation to complete. After reboot you should see the touchpad icon in the systray. Open Touchpad Properties and you should see the control panel and its sub-pages, but without the top and bottom clipped. Description: This is just the INF from R195921.EXE merged with the INF from R192597.EXE (Mini 9 driver for XP). All changes are localized to keys in HKLM,SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTPCpl\SynDell\. Keys modified are: Top, Left, Height; ImageID, Path (to use the lower resolution bitmaps).

| My wife has the 10v but I'll check what I used because it works flawlessly. Dell is wrong, not all 10v's have bluetooth. Mine didn't come with it. By the way, did you install the switch to turn on the wireless and bluetooth?
