I'm trying to get hold of a new battery for my Mini 9 as mine is knackered. I've seen various comically oversized third-party batteries that claim to offer extended battery life, etc, but I understand there are problems inherent in using these. I would like to get hold of another official Dell one (because I'm old school). Does anybody still sell them? Cheers, Loz |

From Dell, of course. Prepare for sticker shock, not to mention a prolonged wait. I have not had issues with the extended battery I have (from MyDigitalDiscount), but I think the one they sell now is slightly different. Wow, that is pretty pricey! Unfortunately, there's no sign of that battery on the UK Dell site. I went ahead and bought an unofficial 4-cell from an ebay shop. They had good ratings so hopefully I'll be lucky. I didn't fancy one of the extended ones since they stick out the bottom so much. Thanks for the tip anyway  |
