I've been catching a LOT lately that when I boot into Vista or 7, the time is always 4 hours ahead, despite the fact that my time zone is correct and that my hardware time is also correct. On installs of OS X, I've had it behind initially, but only on the first boot until I've made the appropriate adjustments. Any ideas wtbh is going on here? I don't see anything in the Event Viewer, and when I sync with a time server, it sync's properly and the time is corrected. Thanks! For me, the fix was a registry key. I understand there are potentially some issues with it with regards to Daylgiht Saving Time, but that's an annoyance I can live with. I'll dig it up and link it when I get to the office. Triple Boot Guide - 10v RAM Upgrade Videos - mechdrew's OSX guides |

The registry key in there forces it to use UTC when setting the time, as I understand it. What I'm not sure of is if it works with XP. I haven't tried yet. I'm getting ready to rebuild my netbook and try to dual boot XP and OS X, but I don't know if I'll be getting to that today or not. If you try it, let me know if it fixes it!
