I saw in another thread, someone mentioned that the score (1.0) stays that way until you activate your Vista install. Hope that helps.

I figured out what it was. My seat of Vista was registered but the program that diagnosed the rating would either stall or complete and not update. Turns out all I had to do was delete some files in the windows experience folder, restart and run it and it worked just fine. I have no clue what caused it to jam up like that. Still looking for the solution to those "Base System Devices" however... but I'm in no rush as this little guy seems to run just fine without them.

You have to disable windows Update, after a while there's no harddisk space anymore.
The Vista CD with SP1 installed gives an error in the setup when he sees your harddisk is just 8gb.
