Anyone running Ubuntu NBR 9.10?

I was just reading about it... It,s downloading now.

I gave 9.10 a try; but, wound up reinstalling 9.04.

I had a few problems with 9.10

-wireless driver did not work - I knew this and hooked up to router and downloaded driver
-had a big problem mounting a usb stick. It just freaked mounting/unmounting rapidly
-wasn't able to play m3u file though movie player. I 9.04 it searched/installed updates automaticly, in 9.10 it just gave me an error.

I wasn't expecting perfection since it,s an alphe release.. but since I'm a linux newb, I think I,ll stick with 9.04 for now.

BTW - I run the desktop version. I tried NBR on 9.10; but, I really prefer the desktop interface.

Any improvement with flash or video? The Intel drivers in 9.10 are supposed to be greatly improved. I thought about throwing it on a USB, but I might wait until at least a beta. The nice thing it Ubuntu is using the mini 9 as a benchmark so we get great support.

Unfortunately, I didn't try any video while I had it installed. Spent most of the time downloading updates, and did install flash; but I didn't really try it out too much.

The reviewer in the link I posted found many improvements; but, did note it was still unpolished.

Most things worked fine; but, I didn't note a drastic improvement for me yet. Enough thins didn't work that I'll wait for the beta as well. I'm happy with 9.04 for the moment.
