T-Keith, I get about 4 hours battery life with Jaunty lpia on my Mini 9.
Michaels, the Mini 12 has well documented graphics problems with anything other than the Dell version of Ubuntu, check this out (especially the link in post #2): http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1014534

Oh ****. Google couldn't help me much with the GMA 500 and Jaunty, looks like it's a lost cause (link). I need this laptop for university and now I basically broke it, huh. Guess I'm going to have to choose between reverting to Dellbuntu Hardy with all its limitations, or try out Windows 7, which appears to work fine on the Mini 12. What a shame. You know things are bad when I actually consider installing microsoft software.
