Medibuntu doesn't have lpia support for Hardy http://packages.medibuntu.org/hardy/libdvdcss2.html
Has anyone actually got this to work on the standard Dell Mini 9?
Mine came with Fluendo codecs, although I'm not sure if that includes DVD or only mp3. Fluendo certainly sell DVD codecs.

Sorry, I know it's not going to help to say it but... changing out to 8.10 makes life so much easier. Or more accurately, getting out of lpia makes life easier.
There are methods to repackage i386 debs for lpia. In fact, in many cases, the i386 debs will work just dandy as they are, they just wont be version tracked properly. Not much changes in Medibuntu though, so you may get lucky and likely won't need versioning anyhow.
Edit: You don't have to use Medibuntu through the repo's. If you go to www.medibuntu.org they have instructions for doing all the extras directly with downloading the deb's.
