I am new in this forum.
I noticed that in mini 9 is preinstalled python 2.5. I tried to run it but it seems only to do the interactive part... example:
>>> print 'hello'
>>> hello
how can i compile directly from interface without passing everytime from the terminal???
another question... i want to install pygame... (i heard about problem with i386 and lpia packages) how can i do this???

You can install pygame from the terminal like so:

sudo apt-get install python-pygame

Or if you like to compile things from source... and you want the latest... the instructions are here (only a couple of lines):
