Well, you can't train everyone for Linux support I suppose... The tech I did speak with was courteous and directed me to call Canonical. (!) So, that's when I Googled for a potential fix.
We arnt talking techs here we are talking script readers.
you train a level 1 tech to follow a script.
I have not bothered to call the Dell IVR to see but if the IVR was correctly designed there would be an option for linux under os options then the IVR Cloud routs the call to a script reader that can fix the issue.
all scrip readers should however be able to resolve the issue.
