Would it be possible to install this iso via a USB stick in the same way as other versions of Ubuntu, I can't get hold of an external DVD drive! Thanks, |

I tried many times to get the iso onto usb but it never works, it gets to a stage where it says it's mounting root from device and then just hangs. I have checked around other forums saying to use dd bs=1024 /if=iso /of=usb to do it but when i do the usb stick becomes unreadable. Use unetbootin to do the iso to usb and change the linux boot syntax from boot=cd to boot=usb and let me know how you get on. |

No USB stick boot joy here either. I had the same issue with creating one and gave up after the third try. |

thanks for posting this. i have a lot of bandwidth, so i'll leave it seeding at half a megabyte/second upstream for a week or two... should make things a bit faster for the next few people to download. |

Thanks for the help. Went for Hardy Ubuntu instead in the end which worked fine from USB. Just realised I need to ditch the swap partition though, so will have to reinstall. Otherwise working lovely! S |
