I did a search, quickly at first and then something a little more in depth, but still found nothing in the way of the issue I seem to be having.
I am looking for a way, in Ubuntu 10.04 on my Dell Inspiron 1012 with 2GB RAM, to disable the touchpad mouse when I plug in an external mouse. I don't care if it's a wired, wireless or bluetooth mouse; none will disable to touchpad as they will in any Windows distro using the settings menu for the mouse. The touchpad just gets in the way when I have an external mouse installed.
Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.
