It doesn't measure BIOS and bootloader contributions to the boot time, but it gives you insight into the Linux part of the boot process.
Here's the header of the bootchart generating during a recent boot of my Mini 9. You can see that a faster SSD
won't speed bootup much, since the CPU is maxed out more than the SSD
Interesting, that sure isn't what I thought. I see the time on your Mini 9 shows 11.98 while mine ranges from 19.52 - 21.08. Just for kicks I installed on my desktop & it is 1.04 (AMD Phenom 9950 Quad with the HD maxed out & the CPU barely visible on the chart).
