Default Trying to install Netbook Remix after Hackintosh - 04-17-2010, 11:00 PM

Hi all. A few months back, I followed the instructions on this forum to install OS X on my Dell Mini 9. I want to go back to Ubuntu so I following the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...n/FromUSBStick to get the install on my 8GB USB stick. After getting the image on to the USB stick, I try and boot from it on my Mini 9 however it never boots off it. It just goes in the OS X loading screen. I've dd'd the image over twice with the same result. Did putting OS X on this do something more permanent? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Never mind...total user error. I forgot when you install OS X, you have to eventually turn off legacy USB support. So I was using the "Removable Media" option. Works great now.

Did you change the boot sequence in the BIOS ?
