I haven't used a stock wifi adapter in a while, but I know with UNR 9.04, I had to go under System, then Administration, then Hardware Drivers and enable it there. That was with the 1397. I run an Atheros card in there now that doesn't work too well under Ubuntu, but works great for what I use it for (security auditing wifi).

In Hrdware Divers it says:"No proprietary drivers are in use on this system."

Default wifi driver .... - 04-22-2010, 05:09 PM

I'm running Lucid Netbook Remix on my Mini 10v. 'Hardware Drivers' finds and offers two Broadcom drivers. You need the STA version and it works just fine. You do have a wired internet connection running? Hardware Drivers needs to download the correct ones. If not, you're in a bit of a catch 22 situation as you can't get the drivers without internet, and you don't have it because you have only wifi etc.
