I have Ubuntu 8.10 installed on my Mini through Windows XP Pro via Wubi. I installed aircraft-manager and turned off Bluetooth to save some battery life. I was doing some work today using Windows and I needed to hook up my Bluetooth mouse. Well, I was having trouble getting it to synch and noticed in Device Manager that Bluetooth was totally gone. I tried to search for new hardware and none was found. I figured my card had fried and was about to call Dell. But ten I remembered installing aircraft-manager and I decided to boot into Ubuntu turned Bluetooth on and it saw my mouse immediately, so I knew it the card was fine.
I then rebooted and booted into Windows and my Bluetooth was there. It seems aircraft-manager turns off the Bluetooth at the hardware level and even Windows can't see it to turn it back on.
