Default ubuntu 9.04 on SD/HD drive - 09-07-2009, 07:30 PM

I just downloaded 9.04 (i386) and installed it on to a SD/HD (8gig) drive. I took the time to get all the updates; and used Sammyboys directions to get the Poulsbo drivers working and then saved it to the SD drive again. It works fine and boots up using the drivers to get the correct resolution etc even in live mode.
My question is; if I were to use the install feature from the desktop to install 9.04 to a hard drive (not mine as I have it on it already); do you think this install would take the Poulsbo drivers etc with it to the hard drive and that system would be fully functional without having to redo everything. fdalbor
