It's the same thing essentially I believe, just Dell have set up a different launcher layout. Best thing about these editions is the fast boot up time .

Dell also includes licensed, non-free codecs to play MP3 and other proprietary formats.

I have to say though, I like the UNR interface much more than Dell's default. I find Dell's ribbon to be somewhat kiddish and while all apps are launched full screen, I think UNR does a better job of maximizing the use of vertical screen space by tying the app switcher and the app menu into one bar.

I'll probably make a ghost of the Dell software when I get my mini (I realize I have the restore DVD but I'm a bit paranoid anyway) and then load up UNR.
