Default Mini Ubuntu Bluetooth Futzing with My Mac's BT? - 11-25-2008, 03:59 AM

I've been keeping my Mini 9 (closed lid) on my desk that hosts my MacPro 2.66 desktop system. The desktop uses an Apple BT keyboard and mouse, and I've been having connection problems with them. The Mini 9 has Wifi and BT built-in. Could it be messing with my Mac's BT devices? Doesn't the Mini 9's Wifi and BT sleep when the lid is shut? Moving the closed lid Mini away a few feet seems to calm the connection problems. I suppose the answer is obvious, but again wouldn't a sleeping Mini 9 not have the Wifi/BT active?

Amazing... I have the same exact setup except my mouse is a Logitech MX 1000 mouse. I have not experienced any problems so far.

I SSH into the Mini with its lid closed so the wifi is definitely working with the lid closed.
