How to Easily Upgrade your Firefox to 3.5 (and future version) in Ubuntu - Make Tech Easier The instructions say to run ubntuzilla.py, I had to add -b at the end as I only have the 4 gb ssd & no space for a backup. It seems to work fine & will update as Firefox releases future updates. |

New software versions go through a verification process making sure everything is compatible, fixing any security problems, etc. However, you can still install it. It does show up as Shiretoko (the projects codename before released). Official instructions for multiple methods: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FirefoxNewVersion |
