Screen should be flush with a 1 mm all around. 1011 (Mini 10v) is a better form factor.

Default 1012 is one of the very good netbook - my main WIN7 PC now

I have 1011(10V) and 1012... in general 1012 is better:
1) 1080 output with HD encoder - I use it with an external 23" 1080p monitor and I can watch DVD (I have an external DVD drive) at full screen (10v can only run the video in a window of 100% and cannot scale to full screen)
2) battery last 7-8 hours on average (10v can do about 5 hrs)
3) drivers and all runs perfectly with Win7 (I have upgraded the harddisk, upgraded to 2G RAM, and added bluetooth. The HD screen (1366x768) and HD decoder is working as it should under WIN7)

The only thing 1012 is less is that it cannot run OSX 100% with all the function like 10v.... that is the only draw back so I still keep my 10v as MacMini.

Default Love my 1012!

I got it a month ago and love it. It should be easy enough to add a second GB of RAM to, I know one 2 GB card-but still it means opening it up and popping out the keyboard so I will wait on that for awhile since it's running fine for me on 1 GB. It's a little heavy with the 6 cell battery, but I wouldn't trade that for anything because it makes for better battery life obviously. I got the lower resolution display, but even that is crisp and sharp looking to my eyes. I really LOVE this mini-computer!
