Hey All,

Thinix gave me the option to test the beta for the Duo and so far its working great!

Definitly keep your eyes on the Thinix site, because the option to download the patch for the Duo won`t be long now!

Grtz,

Janno

I hope it's better than the regular version 6.3. I just installed the update from 6.2 and it has completely messed up my accelerometer. Now, every time i open Thinix Touch, it disables the auto-rotation (I have enabled it in the configurator). Not only that, but when I exit back to windows, my auto screen rotation still won't work until I restart.

When I restart, it works again, except it takes forever, and now it's rotating, and then showing me some ridiculous icon with an arrow that shows me the direction it is rotating, which is beyond maddening due to the distraction and delay. Then, of course, after re-launching thinix....no auto rotation again. None of this happened prior to the upgrade.

this is definitly fixed in the patch, i`m not having problems with this at all...

the Thinix Touch interface now works exactly as the dell Stage Interface, only without the limitations of the Dell Interface.

there a a few minor tweaks that`ll make the Thinix Touch Interface itself even better, but for now it works great!

very soon you`ll have the option to download it from the Thinix website and test it yourself.

Grtz,

Janno

a few changes:

- the dell stage software tab and buttons are added
- the swiveling of the screen starts up Thinix and shuts it down again
- the overall touch experience of Windows 7 is enhanced by Thinix, so even when your not using Thinix there is still a big improvement.

Grtz,

Janno

I had try Thinix over the weekend. While it is a nice overlay, the program is to resource hog. Not memory, CPU wise.

I do not think this have GPU hardware accelerated assisted. To extremely slow for daily use.

I might test out the Duo specific built give my opinion.

i tried it, but the button editor gives me half windows, that are useless.
when i try to personalize/configure it doesn't remember the change i made
(maybe because i am still in demo/test-mode).

for now i am not really impressed. Maybe the duo-patch will convice me to
buy it. If thinix takes other beta-testers i am willing to give it a chance.

All of that you said worked for me. You have to undo all UI tweaked prior to installing Thinix.
