Hi Everyone!

Thinix has released a Dell Duo optimized version of the Thinix Touch 6.3 user interface.

It is available to try as a 30 day free trial, and pricing starts at $29.99 US after that.

Enjoy, and please feel free to post questions about Thinix and Thinix Touch in this sub-group.

Perfect timing! I just purchased a Duo last night and downloaded the latest version of Thinix. So far, it looks like an excellent product that just might fit my needs. I look forward to putting it through its paces!

It is looking like will be a little while yet before we release French keyboard, though I assure you we are actively looking at adding additional languages.

I would note that our new Internet Browser (Thinix TabletBrowser) has French as a language option.

If you have not heard, Thinix has released a new finger-friendly Internet broswer called Thinix TabletBrowser.

Feel free to check it out.

Downloaded and tested the browser.
For now I am not impressed.

As long as the pinch and zoom isn't nearly
as smooth as in the opera mobile 11 browser,
it just feels like you're surfing on soap instead of water

Thanks for checking it out. Thinix TabletBrowser uses the IE9 engine, so I understand your point.

There are some users that will have web-apps and other programs that would only work in IE, and for them we think we have a good alternative. We also plan on adding more features to it that are good for business users.

Also I would let you know we are hard at work on next version of Thinix Touch - and I hope to show a beta of it at Computex in Taipei in a few weeks. I think everyone will be pretty excited when they see it.

touch computing.

Everyone,

Thinix has a new version out 6.4!! I was about to uninstall Thinix 6.3 from my Duo until I saw the update. I loaded it over the top of 6.3 and WOW what a difference!! It is extremely faster and smoother! I purchased a license and am loving the operation of it. This should get me by until Windows 8 has a full release late in 2012 or early 2013.

Any idea if this software will run on Windows 8 on the Duo? So far, I have had no luck.
Any help appreciated. Won't buy it if it won't run
