Hello guys, first of all i didn't find a place to post about the D430 so i tried it here.

I had succesfullt installed mac os x 10.5.8 on my dell D430 and ndeed i never had kernel panics but my sleep didn't work yet so i installed SleepEnabler.kext
But then i got an kernel panic so i reboot but on the boot i keep getting a kernel panic this hasn't happend to me before. So that kext need to be removed only how?

If there is anyone that can help me out please let me know. ;( i'm desperate.

You can try interrupting the Chameleon bootloader and typing -f -x -v to see if you are able to boot in safe mode and remove the kext. Failing that you will have to boot from the installation media, enter Terminal, then delete the kext from there.

YEah i already got it fixed.. Somehow on boot ii typed in mach_kernel and -x save mode and i could delete the kext and i were able to start up again.
But i have another question.
How do i get mac os x 10.5.8 startup sound? There is latterly no sound when i start up my "Mac" any ideas?

Do you mean the "Ah!" sound heard on a real Mac at power-up? I am not aware of any emulated Mac ever simulating that. Cannot say I have ever missed it, either.

That function is built in to the firmware of real Macs. You won't ever hear it on a Hackintosh.
