Default The Dell Inspiron duo as hackintosh mac os x - 11-26-2010, 08:55 PM

The Dell Inspiron duo is coming out,

anyone have any idea if you can install OSX or how hard it would be? Are the specs compatibile?


it has a dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor,

Unknown. The chipset is the same as the 1012 so it may work much the same as the 1012 (which is improving). Don't count on the touchscreen being supported.

We'll find out once it's released and people have it in their hands.

What would you think of a dual boot OS X / Android, I'd love something like that!! Though I'm really tired of low res screen...

No official support for X86 Android yet - it will come eventually. But Google says Android isn't meant for tablets either.

Got it working on 10.6.3 at about 3.00am this morning, (thank god its' the christmas holidays!!) but the touchscreen is currently an issue. Works for double clicking but thats it.
