Dell Inspiron 910 mini9 mini 9 Keyboard Layout Greek - eBay (item 180452814257 end time Aug-03-10 02:25:37 PDT)

On Ebay 3 international style keyboards. These are the Greek versions, but close to the international style the rest of us early adopters love.

Any idea if these are going to work? It looks like there may be a few of those out there?

Should work fine, but I have not seen a BIOS keyboard map code for Greek.

Holmes4, I'm sure that you probably don't care for me much anymore, but I'd like to revive another thread. Though I do so with a fair update.

It seems that my late-to-the-partyness has actually helped me in this case. With the demand down on the U061H, Dell seems to have dropped the price to $19.99+shipping.
I used the chat to check the inventory status and one of their reps made a quote for me right there.

Hopefully, this isn't a fluke (can't see why it would be) so that any others that might have said no before can still get a more normal layout.

The only thing that I can imagine that would effect the price for me is that I created this account through my old university and it still seems to have the connection.

That's the image that she sent so that I could make sure it was correct.

That looks right. I don't know why you think I "don't care much for you anymore". I assume you have seen the instructions for setting the key map. Be very careful with the ribbon connector latch on the mainboard - it is fragile.

Heh, thread necromancy is typically frowned upon even if it is constructive. Perhaps I've just been through too many immature forums.

Do you mean these few steps from page 1?
Quote:
Shut down the Mini.
Disconnect the AC adapter.
Hold down the Fn and K keys.
Reconnect the AC adapter
Release the keys.
If so, then thank you (or whichever mod) for doing that. This should be a pretty simple process.

Yes, those steps, which I added to the first post.

HAHAha, I used tinypic for that image, but I expected them to keep the image for a few months at least. It appears that is not quite so.

That is great.
