Default Dell Mini 9 Disassembly Pictures - 11-19-2008, 03:04 PM

When I painted the LCD cover of my mini, I took pictures along the way. Hopefully these are helpful for someone....

So many people are curious about the Bluetooth module... location, ease of installation, etc... so I pointed out where it is in some of the pictures.

I am planning to order the Cherry Red LCD Cover to replace the Black Cover in mine...

I am assuming I will have to go through all this disassembly process to get it done or is there an easier way..???

You will have to do everything listed in my post.... I was swapping out the cover when I took all those pics.

It's really not too bad, but it is freaky tearing your brand new Mini down like that!

hey man, forgot to mention the 2 screws hidden in the holes with plastic fills in the back, near the screen. i almost breack the palm rest :lol:

What phillips did you guys use to remove the bolts holding the wireless card/sdd? nothing I have will grip it, its killing me, I have a wireless N card I cant install.

AFAIK, you just need a small jeweler's screwdriver...
