Default Mini 10 Wireless Question - 07-29-2009, 02:13 AM

My mini 10 has dell wireless 1397 wlan mini card..whats the fastest speed that it can connect to the internet at? i have a 8 meg download and 512 kb upload, but it only connects at 4 meg if im lucky...

Did you try a speed test connected via wired ethernet? You'd have to have a really bad signal to only get 4Mbit down. I'm guessing your advertised 8Mbit download speed isn't.

it works just fine with my full size laptop and my desktop...its only slow on the mini 10...i get the full 8 meg on both the desktop and full size laptop

just tested the mini 10 wired and i get 8 megs so its something with the wireless

it still was the same...figured it out though...had to change the tcp window size...thanks for all your help!!
