could be but tesco is the uk's largest retailer (basically they are the wal-mart of the united kingdom) so unless someone has hacked their pages i doubt they are scam artists

the specs look legit, it has the z520 chip which allows 2 gigs of ram but is only 1.33 gigs insted of the 1.6 of the n270

the price works out to 489 us dollars

i just hope it is fanless like the 9

The CPU doesn't set the max amount of ram, the chipset does. And the z series Atoms are supposed to be on the "Poulsbo" chipset, which is locked at 1gb of ram. Feel free to find some real documentation to prove me wrong, I'd love to be wrong about where Intel stuck it's head while designing a "new" chipset.
edit: I did some research, I'm not wrong, you are.
This is the z520 Note the chipset at the bottom of it
This is that chipset Note that this chipset is capped at 1gb

The new Mini10! Born with a gimp leg..

I think its funny how the Mini 9 seems more capable than it's bigger Netbook brethren.

Poulsbo is no longer limited to 1GB, it is now capable of 2GB.

They changed the spec and announced it in an update sheet.
See the section "Specification Changes" on page 18 of
Intel® System Controller Hub (Intel® SCH) Specification Update

Questions I have are is the Memory Still going to be built into the motherboard?
160gb hard drive so I am this isn't a Solid state?
The weight is heavier then the lighest mini 12. Which I think seems appropriate.
Battery 4 or 6 cell? That will make the weight difference.

Also on I side note if the do put more then 1 gig or memory Will they be required to install vista on it from the factory?

I am just wondering how any site is selling the mini10's when they haven't even been officially announced on the Dell site. This is what has me puzzled. :?

If the only options are HDs as opposed to SSDs, I'm glad I went for the mini 9.

Black Mini 9: 64Gb Runcore SSD, Windows XP Home, 2Gb RAM, 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth
