Hi. I have reinstalled windows xp and all the dell software I wanted on, but when I try to install the dell webcam software it halts duing install and says that setup could not detect any live cam avatar on your system please ensure that your live cam avatar is properly installed before running this setup program set up will now exit. I thought this was the live avatar program, also there is no version of this program on the original support disk that came with the dell 10v. If anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks.

I got a 10v refurb from the Outlet. It came with a Windows Vista install disck and a second disk that contained the Webcam Central software. I hate to say it but contact Dell and have them send a disc.
