I reinstalled 10.6.3 from my thumb drive. I updated to 10.6.6 combo update and then to 10.6.7 combo update using USB Mouse and USB keyboard. I was getting "mouse stutter" and I wanted to use the Laptop's Key Board and Track Pad. I installed VoodooPSTController.kext and now my Laptop won't boot. It hangs at various stages.

How do I remove VoodooPS2Controller.kext? or how do I Flag to boot around it? I tried -x and no joy.

Also, can I reinstall 10.6.3 without overwriting my data? I load my files on my desktop. Will the "desktop" be wiped in a new install?
