In my experience you will not get the GPS to function within windows 7, it will run and gather NEMA data but you will never get a lock. It will go fine in XP, unsure why there is such a problem in win 7 but I have never been able to get the GPS working correctly.

I can confirm that my AT&T Dell 5530 (Ericsson F3507g) WWAN card works with Win7 on a Inspiron N4110 & Vostro 3450, for 3G BB and GPS Locks. After twiddling with all drivers and software available I settled in on the following from Dell and did a registry rollback to install them. The card works like charm to connect on 3G and GPS will lock indoors (under the roof, not below the first floor) after first lock was obtained outside. I have Garmin MobilePC and Earthbridge working with the GPS sweetly.
