Default 2120 with win 8 vs win 7 - 02-16-2013, 07:48 AM

Hi,

Been going back and forth between win 7 and 8

Bottom line - battery life with win 8 - shorter in about 20%

I would like to get comments or verify my findings with others

I haven't performed a formal comparison between 8 and 7 on my 2100, but I would say they are on par using my original 6-cell battery. I can work continuously for about 4 to 5 hours. I do not have a touch-screen, but I did replace the 1024x600 matte display with a 720p glossy screen.

Mac OSX runs my battery down about twice as fast, however.
