In the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I picked up quite a few channels. This was a feature I was really looking forward to using, but when I saw this thread I was a little skeptical that I would get any results.

Got my mini today. I picked up about 25 channels and I was very pleased. I live in a semi-rural area and wasn't sure what I'd get out here. Only watched about 20 min. or so, so don't know if there are other issues with longer viewing times yet.

Microsoft Update Catalog

Hauppauge has released a new unified Dell TV driver v1.95.28113 dated 4/23/2010

Works good when installed with latest version of WinTV beta from link above. Hauppauge requires WinTV to be installed from a CD-R though and can be a pain. After dbl-clicking downloaded executable, the install files will be extracted into a folder on your HD named C:\Hauppauge\WinTV v7.2. CD2.0. Just click exit at 2nd install splash prompt to cancel the install process.

To clean install this beta make sure to burn contents of C:\Hauppauge\WinTV v7.2. CD2.0 extracted folder into the root directory of a burnable CD-R using below instructions:

To just have standard WinTV (no extend) use the CD-R disc name: WINTV7-V7 then install from CD-R
Or if you want to be prompted to install the WinTV w/Extend Feature use the CD-R disc name: WINTV7-V7.2 then install from CD-R

i got the pinnacle pctv hd pro stick tv tuner and it works flawlessly on the hp mini110 running windows7 ultimate. never tried it on the mini9, 10 or 10v, but it should run just as well.

Mine works great here in rural Utah...I got about 15 channels when I scanned. After reading about the freezing after time, I left it on all day while at work. It was doing fine when I came back at the end of the day. My driver for the tuner is version 3.11.27187 dated 7/6/2009....seems strange after reading the above...but maybe that one is europe and mine is USA.... Also in My Videos folder, I show a folder called "Recorded TV".. but I can't see any way to do anything other than watch recording option that I can find. I have XP and the Cyberlink "Dell Digital TV" program to watch TV. Anyone have any suggestions on recording TV?

I just noticed that the driver referenced in the above post says its for the AMD 64 architecture?????
