Done! Check step 6 to see how to get audio working after sleep! I just used the same sleepwatcher method used before with the voodoo kexts and it worked!

Default Awesome?

So after spending some time researching the OSX86 Netbook scene Im strongly cosidering purchasing a Mini 10v after reading this thread. Does this really work as well as it sounds? Does anyone have any recommendations for configuring it before purchase or where to get a good price besides dell? Thanks in advance and Im looking forward to participating in the online community.

Thanks very much for all your work on the sound issue. I just installed a 2GB RAM stick and swapped my internal HDD for an SSD. Working audio is the final frontier. Looking forward to the fix.

That was quick. I'll give it a whirl.

UPDATE: Before I get crazy, do I have to uninstall anything the dellefi1.25a loaded in? I just ran 1.25a to get my SSD to boot.

Yes, I have OSX working 100% on my Mini 10v now and it is wonderful!
As for the configuration if you are not going to use bluetooth, then don't buy it and save your self some issues that it may cause. Other than that, everything else seems to work just fine!

EDIT:
Georgencopy please note that as lnxneo has pointed out to me, the audiokext.zip contained old audio drivers! I have updated the link to the download to include the new ones, so please download and use it instead. You will now only need step 6 if your audio after sleep still doesnt work after that!

EDIT2: on second thought just follow the guide as normal and DO do step 6. I put the old audiokexts file back up because the new one is having some issues, and I am currently working with lnxneo to find a solution

So I have restarted after shutting down and the audio doesn't work, is this where I would need step 6?

depends which step are you on? or have you finished the guide? it might be because you are on 10.5.8 and some issue with that. Redownload and install the audio kexts then shut down and power back up.

but step 6 is only for if your audio doesn't work after you awake from sleep, not after restart.

So when I use the audiokexts.zip and install them - my sound doesnt' work at all.

If I use the old netbookinstaller that you had with the kext's in it - the sound works fine. Any idea's/
