Yes, it's a serial port but it's mostly use as a remote control for your TV or other appliances.

I received my Dell Zino HD (Inspiron 400) on Friday, Dec. 11 so I can clarify some of the arguments and speculation concerning the ports. If I Had a camera I'd take a picture, but unfortunately I do not. I'll try to update this later with a picture of my unit.

On the back of the unit are the following ports:
1 Power Adapter
1 HDMI 3.1
1 VGA
2 eSATA
2 USB 2.0
1 Ethernet
1 Stereo Line-Out
1 Mic-in
1 Kensington Security Slot (if you would label this a "port")

On the front are the following ports:
1 Stereo Headphone
2 USB 2.0
1 Card reader (possibly multi-reader, but I only have SD cards to test, which work)

You can get 5.1 audio out of the HDMI port with the integrated HD3200 graphics card or 7.1 audio if you opt for the standalone HD4330 card. Neither card supports bitstreaming HD audio. The Line-out is stereo only, unfortunately, and there is no optical (S-PDIF) port.

Specs for my configuration:
AMD Athlon 3250e (1.GHz, 1MB)
3GB DDR2 SDRAM AT 800MHZ
ATI Radeon HD 4330 512MB Graphics Card
320GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM)
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit

I can certainly help clarify all that, and there should be images galore to go along with it.

Tomorrow when I get to work (I work at Dell). I'll make an .xps document out of the info on this unit and post it back up on here for you all.. and just for giggles I'll include the parts list as well.

It doesn't appear to be damaged. Try re-downloading it. .xps files open via internet explorer. I'm at work at the moment and can't do uploads from here or else I would do it again just to make sure.

I ordered a Latitude 2100 the other day ..I think it should be in today or tomorrow so I would have a small system I could bring in to work and do stuff on that, that normally the Dell network would otherwise block.

I downloaded the file on my droid just now and it extracted fine.. so do try the download again, if its still not working for you, I can send it to you directly or something.

No, I think there is some sort of error. Can not extract and cannot open with Internet Explorer either.

I'm not familiar with .xps files, and this is not a good beginning. ;-)

The .zip file uses a uncommon compression algorithm (PPMd). That's probably why people are having problems extracting files.

The zip was created using winrar.. but regardless, for those that are having trouble getting that one, I uploaded just the file, unzipped..still in the .xps format.

Download Dell Zino & Zino HD System Information.xps

Last time I checked, there wasn't a parts list available for this system as of yet.
