The Dell Mini 10v with Ubuntu is available in the Small & Medium Business Store, and it is the same price as the 10v with Windows.

Here is the link I used:

The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

On that page you have the option of 2GB RAM as well.

My husband just ordered a Mini 9 yesterday, and we got an email acknowledging the order with Ubuntu among the specs. So they are taking orders for them. He did say it took a couple tries to get the order through, whatever that may mean.

Heh, I'm glad I bought mine half a year ago. Anyway, is there no way to order a netbook without OS, and then install one yourself?

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

No,unfortunately Dell won't sell a new computer without an OS of some sort already installed.

Mind you they do still offer Ubuntu as a low cost option here in the U.K.... I am not sure about Belgium though!

Dell's website is showing the Ubuntu and Windows based mini's for sale at the same price. I dual boot mine - Ubuntu Netbook Remix and Windows 7. Installed both off USB stick even though I have an USB external DVD drive. $279 for the machine.
