Default BIOS - 10-03-2008, 04:20 AM

I saw some genral questions about the BIOS on the system and checked the download area. curently we still only have the initial A01 version however, it is in a windows installer.... is there any one with a mini and ubuntu install willing to take a risk ans see if they ca at least get the flash tool to run under wine?

What i am hoping is that DELL will give the Linux users an easy way to do firmware updates.

In the past, I've loaded firmware updates while having a computer up and running with a BartPE (like a Windows XP live-cd) disc. it does require an optical drive, but it would be an option for the linux users and you wouldn't have to worry about a compatibility issue in wine possibly bricking your system.
