Hello Guys!
I'm trying to install the last ChromeOS build released by Dell (
ChromiumOS_Apr10_2013.img) on my
Dell mini 1010 and I'm having some troubles with the screen resolution.
I'm booting the system through an USB stick and I'm using the boot options
"chromeos-usb.A root=/dev/sda3" as suggested by other members of this forum.
Everything seems normal and I can even see the Chromium splash screen perfectly.
After that, the login screen is shown completely distorted or warped. I can see the mouse is moving by the screen but I'm unable to login so I can reach the terminal (
using ctrl+alt+T) and then change the screen resolution.
Could you please help me out on telling me another way to reach the terminal or on a way to get this screen resolution solved? If I put the text
"vga=ask" on the boot options, I just can get very low resolutions such as
80x60 or
80x25 even scanning for new modes... None of them change anything and I can see the system changes the screen resolution on boot despite of my choice.
Well, I'm very excited about this new image and I'm reading good stuff about it. So i count on you guys for helping me with this little trouble.
Thanks in advance!
