Post Application Scale - 05-11-2011, 03:00 PM

Update to "AppMinimizer" :

http://www.box.net/shared/974qt3p8xt3dhhih5q9f

Back when I first hackintoshed my 10v, one of the first challenges I came across was an issue with Photo Booth not fitting properly on the screen. I searched the forum and found that it was a commonly known problem.

It became apparent that it was not a Photo Booth only issue; other apps are also effected. Notably, some system preference panes don't display correctly, making it difficult to make desired changes since the bottons along the bottom cannot be reached.

Eventually i wrote a couple of simple scripts to change the scale so the entire window would display (though diminished in size).

Anyhow, I've just made a minor update to the one of the scripts which will allow you not only to choose whatever app you want to run with it, but also let you enter what scale you'd like to open it in.

Most apps that will benefit will display fine in either 80% scale (.8) or 85% scale (.85); in any case, you can now use your own discretion and preference to decide in what scale you run your apps.

Note:
default app is Photo Booth
default scale is .85

Type in your own values for app, and scale when prompted.

cheers.
