Default Hynix 512mb 2rx16 Pc2 5300s 555 12 ok for 10v? - 08-05-2012, 05:51 AM

Hi, I have this spare RAM card and I was wondering if I can use it on my 10v?
The Dell hasn't had any upgrades, so it still has its original 1gb. I guess in the picture below there's a free RAM slot?

Thanks in advance for your help

there is only 1 (ONE) slot for RAM.....you must remove the 1gb chip and replace it with a 2gb chip

To complete the answer - you cannot use that RAM to add on to the 1GB you have, and 512MB would be a downgrade if you were to swap the RAM.
