Hello! I recently ordered a lot of replacement parts and got my old Dell Mini 9 booting and working. However I noticed that the Keyboard function was off. The reason being that I was missing a keyboard tab.

I tried using other things, tape, plastic, etc. to get the ribbon to stay in place but none of it seemed to work.

Where can I get a replacement for this tab, or what sort of DIY-hacks can I do to secure the keyboard cable?

If I understand your reference to "tab" correctly, it's the slide-lock mechanism that holds the ribbon in place. I think this works by clamping the ribbon down onto the contacts, so you might try sliding a piece of thin cardboard between the top of the ribbon and the connector to wedge it in.
