Hope someone can help.

I shattered my Dell Streak screen and so replaced it and the digitiser by following the various posts on the internet that provide tear-down instructions. All went well until I tried to use it. It appears to boot up fine, but when I get to the locked screen it is completely unresponsive. I thought the replacement screen must be faulty, but the same thing happened on a second screen.

I tried to calibrate the screen as I thought that might sort out the issue, but the calibrate repeatedly fails.

The model is a UK version on o2 running an updated OS (2.3 I belive); can anyone offer any advice. Thanks.
