Yes, that's verified. I added Bluetooth 2.1 as an option - listed as an additional $20 upgrade - but when everything added up at the end, the total was still $249.
Super that the sale has already started: no waiting until Friday! Shipping date for me wasn't until December 7th...that will likely be longer for those folks who wait until Friday to order.

Ugh, has the deal ended already? The above links don't seem to have the discount any more -- will be it back Friday?

I hope not. No way I can get one at the regular price
If anyone can find a new link I'd be most grateful! I've been googling with no luck at all.

Found it!

Searching for "dnphfe1" at Dell.com yields the right price

Dell Inspiron Mini 10v

Seems with this one you can no longer deselect Bluetooth to get it for $229, but still much better than $388!

i bought one today. I added the n280 and bluetooth. After tax the total was a little bit over 300. I am happy and looking forward to using it. I might buy a 640 gb hd and put it in there too. Then im going to put osx, windows and ubuntu on it. It is supposedly going to get here around the 14th of december. I wish it was sooner.

For all those still currently thinking about jumping into this deal, you find it by searching for "DNPHFE1" at Laptops, Desktop Computers, Monitors, Printers & PC Accessories | Dell United Kingdom.

You can also get 20% cash back by using Bing. bing "HDTV" and click on the "HD TVs at Dell link" for cash back.

Good luck. Getting my girlfriend's mom one now... ~225 after all the CA taxes and cashback.

Deal Expired!!!

$250 Deal

Yes the 2 GB makes all the difference and it's extremely easy with the proper instructions:
How to upgrade Dell Mini 10v memory | jRin.net

I turned off my pagefile sys / swapfile, and it runs very fast.... but I do have the SSD (16GB)...

I got mine refurbed with every option:
Wireless 1510 (which sucks except for channel 11 on a G network)
N280 1.66GHz (667 FSB)
Came w/ 1GB
16GB SSD
1.3Mp camera
Bluetooth 2.1
Bigger battery

All for $274 from Dell outlet... upgraded the Ram, and it's a little powerhouse with 8 hours of battery life easy....

How much snappier does the 10v get with the extra stick of RAM, anyway? -- is it worth the hoop-jumping necessary to upgrade?
